Professional Development

EDND offers professional development opportunities for its members, including biannual conferences and basic economic development training for new developers through pre-conference sessions. Many classes, programs and training opportunities are provided in cooperation with national certification organizations and the North Dakota Department of Commerce.

Members will be notified of any scheduled professional development opportunities and they will be listed on the calendar of events.

EDND members are eligible to apply for a scholarship to attend out-of-state training and certifications and cost-prohibitive in-state training.

Many national organizations also offer professional development and certification programs and economic degrees. Please find below links to those organizations.

EDND’s scholarship program provides financial assistance for individualized training and professional development related to the economic development field.
