ND SBDC Business Advisor, Minot 

POSITION OVERVIEW: The ND SBDC Business Advisors execute the mission, vision, and values of the ND SBDC Network. They provide professional business advising to entrepreneurs and small business owners or managers in all facets of starting, managing, and growing a small business. These positions also may assist with program marketing, stakeholder relations, and local-match funds development within their assigned region at various functions and events. Business Advisors are accountable for ND SBDC goals and milestones assigned to their Center and may be called upon to complete or assist with special projects and efforts involving the network, their region, or Center, including market research or client research to understand and help to meet client and other stakeholder needs. These positions are created, implemented, and continued based on funding available from an annual SBA Cooperative Agreement award grant and any additional funding provided by other funding sources or special project funds.

ND SBDC’s Minot Region includes Bottineau, Burke, McHenry, Mountrail, Pierce, Renville, and Ward counties. This position closes on June 13, 2024.

Community Development Director, City of Killdeer

POSITION OVERVIEW The Community Development Director plans, organizes and implements community and economic development functions from conception to completion, including business retention, business attraction and incentive programs, research and planning; performs a variety of responsible administrative, professional and technical tasks. Implements community development goals and objectives for the city, interfaces and coordinates with the community, local businesses and various departments and staff. Works with City Hall on additional items as necessary. This Job Description is not a contract and is subject to change.
