The Director of Business Development directs economic development programs and projects in the Grand Forks region, working with community leaders to attract new businesses and support local businesses with retention and/or expansion projects. The Director of Business Development leads EDC business development staff and must effectively build and maintain relationships with public and private partners, stakeholders, and industry representatives to effectively advance the EDC’s strategy, goals, and objectives to recruit, grow and retain primary sector business that align with EDC priorities. The CEO of the organization is responsible for the successful implementation of economic development programs that facilitate the creation of jobs and economic growth throughout the communities of Stutsman County. The CEO acts as the liaison in maintaining and building key relationships in support of community projects. The CEO manages all activities, programs, and operations of the JSDC in an efficient and effective manner as they relate to the strategic plan. Workforce Development Director
